I am a proud co-chair of the T.R.A.P. Lab. We are an interdisciplinary cohort of graduate students, faculty members, and industry experts around the country trying to build a more equitable world with better data. We meet every week during the academic year to discuss current work trappers and industry leaders are exploring on relevant topics, with a focus on research at the intersection of technology, identity, and bias. This includes the exploration of how racial identity shapes the consumer marketplace as well as how technology and artificial intelligence are transforming academic research.Â
